Marcelo Amaral is Economist, M.Sc and D.Sc in Industrial Engineering by Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He did postdoctoral studies at São Paulo University. Marcelo is specialist in Project Management oriented to Technology Innovation and worked in several organizations as Electric Energy Research Center (CEPEL), Federation of Industries of The State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN) and Centre for Mineral Technology (CETEM).
