Raised on Quarter Circle U Ranch north of Rapid City, SD.
Married Grant McNeil in 1950. Family - 3 sons, 2 in Amarillo, 1 in El Paso; widowed 1991, married Claude Logan 1994. He had a boy and a girl, and 20 years later another boy and girl.
Poet: 3 books won 5 national awards, 2 Pulitzer nominations. Have won over 2,000 poetry contest awards.
Husband Claude is now under Hospice Home Health Care, getting weaker every day it seems. Although neurologists have said it is not Lou Gehrig's disease, that is mentioned all through his records. They still do not actually know why he is deteriorating so rapidly, so they don't know how to treat it. Your prayers will help. Thank you.
