Born in Chicago, but spent the first 8 years of my life in Missoula, MT.
Went to grades 3-12 in Winnetka and Northfield, Illinois.
Earned BSEE and MSEE at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1977 and 1982.
Spent 25 years designing mixed-signal and analog ICs in the semiconductor industry / Santa Clara Valley, CA, 1978-2003.
