Mark Magennis is Director of the Centre for Inclusive Technology at NCBI – Working for People with Sight Loss. He is a digital accessibility expert, author of the Irish IT Accessibility Guidelines and Accessible ICT Procurement Toolkit. Former Head of Usability at Frontend User Interface Engineering Ltd. He has significant experience in usability and user-centred design of online services and user interfaces. He has managed NCBI’s role in EU funded projects on inclusive design & development tools, accessible digital skills training and audio-haptic environments. Mark holds an MSc from the University of London and a PhD from the University of Glasgow, both in Human Computer Interaction.
