It’s been 23 years since you died of cancer mom, with your last embrace and breath freeing you. Your strength and courage carrying me through all the hardships and storms I have weathered throughout my life. This is to you, this is to your love, this is to your dedication, and this is to your dreams of a brighter future for your children. I know not all of us have made it, I know not all of us are free, I know most of us are lost, but this I give to you- through me, through my children, through our lives we will live our lives to the fullest and carry you through to a new hope, a brighter future, a new life.
