Farm boy from Northeast Iowa. Played football and worked at truck stop until I graduated from High School. Drafted into the Army and served during Viet Nam at Ft. Bragg, NC in the 82nd Airborne as an armorer and a UH-1 crew chief. Attended UNI while working and the rest is history.
