Dr. McAfee has spent more than 20 years serving as a results-driven leader in the government, philanthropic, and human-service sectors collaborating with government, civic, business, nonprofit and faith leaders to create more than 3,000 units of affordable housing and 5,000 jobs and ensure that more than 100,000 families receive social services. Dr. McAfee currently serves as Director of the Promise Neighborhoods Institute (PNI). In this role, he is working with leaders in more than 21 communities across America, to improve the educational and developmental outcomes of all children in our nation’s most distressed communities.
