Mike teaches 6th & 7th grade mathematics in a 1:1 computing environment. His students use a variety of tools to enhance their math studies and assess their skills on a regular basis.
Tools used in Mike's classroom include Google Apps, Desmos, Schoology, Google Sites, Nearpod, Socrative, TenMarks, and more.
Mike has spearheaded a number of initiatives in his district including a Chromebook/Google Apps for Education rollout, a district-wide STEM initiative, a school-wide mathematics intervention initiative, a coding program for students, and professional development trainings for teachers on using technology in the classroom.
