Xavelli (Kudzani “Young Chisa” Machisane) is a Motswana man who was born on the 30th September 1979. He started his music career in 1991 as a Pantsula dancer and scooped a lot of competitions around F/Town area and was staying with his Grandfather Machisane Manondo and Grandmother Linah Machisane at a village called Mosojane in the North Eastern part of Botswana. In 1996 he went to stay his mother Shandulani Machaine and brother Galani ‘Malik Barks’ Machisane, his sister Nicole and Unopa Blue in Gaborone. Barks was and is still a writer, of poetry, songs and movie scripts and Xavelli gained interest and started learning to RAP from his brother. As time went they started rehearsing to
