I am a Fulbright alumna from India. Currently I am pursuing my doctoral research as a Research Higher Degree Scholar at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education. I have 12 years of teaching and research experience in India and in the U.S. I received M.A and M.Phil degrees in English with thesis in Comparative Literature from Calcutta University. With my educational background in language and cultural studies from India, I received an M.A in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies from Loyola University Chicago. In December 2011, I received Ed.M from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Global Studies in Education, Dept. of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership.
