Drifting is an intentional oversteering technique used in racing where the driver loses rear or full tire traction through a corner. Kunimitsu Takahashi is credited with pioneering drifting in Japan in the 1940s. The first organized drifting competition was held in 1985 in Japan. In the UAE, the main places to drift are the Yas Marina Circuit and Dubai's Middle East Nissan Drift, which both have strict safety and licensing requirements due to the high-risk nature of drifting.

* *The First Place to do drift in it is YASMARINACIRCUT. *This place give you 2.5 hours to learn to drift and they have rules but they have many rules I will give u some of them. * All safety equipment provided by Yas Marina Circuit, including a helmet, must be worn. * No cameras are allowed on board or inside the vehicles * Please park your own vehicle at the Support Pit or Yas Central Car Park * To participate, you must hold a full driving license * Drivers must be at least 18 years of age
*The another place is that has drift academy is in Dubai they the middle east Nissan drift. *They must use only the 370z Nissan its given their the rules is they must have experience. *And similar to YASMARINACURICT.
* *There is places for drifting and they say that it is very expensive.
