Dr. Mohd Ezani bin Mat Hassan received his BS (with double majors in Operations Management and Computer Science) in 1982 and MS (in Industrial Management) in 1984 from Northern Illinois University, USA. While he was still studying for his MS program, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has offered him a job as a lecturer at its Faculty of Business Management. In 1992, he was offered another scholarship to pursue for a Ph.D degree in the United Kingdom. After almost four years of research, in 1996, he completed his thesis and was awarded a Ph.D degree by the University of Newcastle.
