Perhaps love is as a robin's tune -
I pray I shall find out soon.
Perhaps it is as bright as daybreak;
Or as magnificent as the sun's wake.
More silent, perhaps, than most mortals suppose,
Yet cannot be captured through poetry or prose.
Unseen as the cool breeze of night,
Yet warm as the golden sun's light.
Some cannot see, though they stare it in the eye -
Some do not feel 'til they say, "Goodbye."
Some find it, keep it, and treasure it forever,
Hoping and praying that they will always be together.
Perhaps love is as a robin's tune -
