Nathan Hutting studied physical therapy at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht (the Nether-lands). After his graduation in 2003 he worked as a physical therapist and was involved in several projects investigating diabetes mellitus and physical exercise in the Netherlands between 2008 and 2013. He studied manual therapy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Brussels, Belgium) and graduated cum laude in 2008. His graduation thesis on pre-manipulative testing of the cervical spine, resulted in 2 peer-reviewed publications in 2013.
