NativeOUT was originally founded by Corey Taber, Abrose Nelson, and Victor Bane in 2004, as a local social group named the Phoenix Two Spirit Society. Since that time, we’ve evolved into a national unincorporated nonprofit education and media organization, actively involved in the Two Spirit Movement. We utilize the internet, through our website, multimedia, and social networks to educate about the Indigenous LGBTQ/Two Spirit people of North America.
Our vision is to create social change in rural and urban communities that benefit Indigenous Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Two Spirit people.
