I use R and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure to manage parallel data processing workflows that span hundreds of thousands of geospatial data files. I also have extensive experience with the PostgreSQL database system in analytic contexts. My training and experience have been multidisciplinary and cross-cutting going back to studies in computer science, economics, ecology and foreign languages while completing my engineering degrees at MIT.
