Currently, I am a software developer at Broadridge Financial Solutions. I was a member of the Laboratory for Natural Language Processing (NLP) group at University of British Columbia. My research interests lie in the field of information retrieval & extraction, machine learning and text analytics.
I have done different research projects on text data in order to extract meaning and knowledge from text including topic modelling of tweets to recommend new users to follow or to determine which posts are worth reading, sentiment analysis of tweets and product reviews, open information extraction from colloquial conversations, and online product review summarization.
