Raising Expectations
NEWTEC (Newham Training and Education Centre) was established in 1983, in Stratford, in the heart of East London. In the following 26 years, we have developed from a small Voluntary Sector provider renting space in the attic of a church, to a social enterprise that is a significant partner in the regeneration of the Borough.
We currently operate from four main sites that enable us to keep in touch with the local people we serve.
To achieve our vision to improve the social and economic wellbeing of children and families in East London,we are: building up local people's skills and confidence through training expanding our Children's Centre and childcare service
