Research Interests a) Analytical and Environmental - development of selective new materials (organomodified silicas gel and mesoporous silicas ) and nanomaterials (nanoadsorbents and nanosensors from silsesquioxanes) for adsorption, separation, purification and recovering of organic components and metals from solutions. b)Catalysis – preparation of nanostructured catalysts for olefin oxidation reactions. c)Nanocomposites/Hybrid Polymers - epoxy nanocomposites with completely defined organic/inorganic phases are prepared by modification of commercial epoxy resin with functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) or dendrimers.
