• Prospective PhD student passionate about pursuing research in *statistics education*: research underlying the practice of teaching and learning of statistics, especially *statistical reasoning* and *statistical literacy*. Proficient in applied mathematics, statistics, epistemology, and philosophy of science. Focused on clearly explicating, and educating others about, the role of statistical methods (and their *accurate* interpretations!) in science and engineering, with an emphasis on *interdisciplinary* research.
