I am a soon to be graduate with a degree in marketing from UTSA. I am the winner of the San Antonio Student Marketer of the year award for 2011 -American Marketing Association.
I chose marketing because it’s a field that gives you the ability to make a positive difference in an organization. I feel that as a marketer you actually get to make key decisions that will determine success or failure.
Marketing not only teaches valuable lessons about patience, but it also teaches a person about perseverance. I really enjoys the challenge of getting a product or service to the customer whether that be for a volunteer organization or a for profit business.
