A driving force of my neuroscience research is coming from Martial Arts Kungfu, Taikiken(Ì«šÝÈ­), Yiquan(ÒâÈ­), and Iliqchuan(ÒâÁ¦È­) that I have trained for more then 20 years. Here are my basal questions: What is sense (¸ÐÐÔ)? What is awareness/insight (šÝ¤Å¤­/¶´²ì)? What is belief (ÐÅÄî)? Now I believe that these qualities must be contained in "recognition memory" and "associative inference" in neuroscience research. Now, my scientific questions are: What is "pattern separation vs. pattern completion"? What is "premise vs. rule"? What is "reward prediction vs. relational inference"?
