Octavio A. Hinojosa Mier is the Executive Director of the Hispanic Scholarship Consortium (HSC), an Austin-based 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to providing financial and mentoring support to the increasing number of Texas’ Hispanic students wishing to pursue a higher education.
 
Octavio has provided his management and leadership skills to a variety of organizations including the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) in Washington, DC as its Founding Executive Director. He is nationally recognized for his visionary leadership in promoting the U.S. Hispanic community as a strategic component in both domestic and international projects.
