Paul Beaufait is an expatriate language educator and the ICT Coordinator for the Japan Association for Language Teachers (JALT) Writers' Peer Support Group and the PIGATE 英語授業研究会 (_eigo jugyou kenkyuukai_, a grassroots teacher development action research group). His career in language education has spanned three decades, and focused largely on blending face-to-face and online language learning opportunities and promoting language teacher development.
