Patricia Neville PhD is a sociologist with research interests in gender(femininity and masculinity), media and cultural analysis, volunteering, self-help culture, mental health and contemporary Irish society. She is also the recipient of a number of teaching awards. Recipient of two Faculty Teaching Development Fund Awards, University of Limerick (2009, 2011). Shortlisted for Griffith College President's Medal in Academic Excellence 2013.
