Petra is currently working at the National Institute for Curriculum Development (SLO) in the Netherlands. Her work focuses on TPACK, the use and implementation of ICT in education and recently she was involved in a project on 21st century skills.
Before working at SLO, Petra worked at the University of Twente, department of Curriculum Design & Educational Innovation. Her research and teaching activities were related to TPACK, and the implementation and use of new media in (higher) education. Research projects focused on TPACK, serious games, electronic whiteboards in primary education, ubiquitous learning, and the role of the middle manager in implementation processes.
