Karaoke singing is the weirdest kind of "entertainment" ever created. We are actually seeking to boost up our self-worth by either (a) putting down other people's (i.e., when we sing like Jose Carreras while others can't even get the pitch right), or (b) bringing down theirs (i.e., forcing our Carreras friends to suffer the hell we create through "singing" ...).
