My work explores the relationship between the universality of relations between people and their emotional state. With influences as diverse as Nietzsche and John Lennon, new combinations are created from both explicit and implicit messages. Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the unrelenting divergence of the zeitgeist. What starts out as yearning soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of defeat, leaving only a sense of nihilism and true belief in a better world. As momentary replicas become frozen through studious and undefined practice, the player is left with a statement of the inaccuracies of our self.
