I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, spending most of my time making sure I could play every Rush song on drums by age 13.
13-23 consisted of a series of playing in bands with roughly the same few people, collecting experiences strewn about dirty clubs and recording studios in the Midwest that I won't soon forget. Somewhere in there I attended Northwestern University for a degree in something nerdy.
23 was the year I did something pretty crazy and moved to Israel for reasons you can ask me about sometime (hint: Bamba). Lived on a kibbutz. Cleaned fish and stuffed peppers for $0/hr (how'd I make a living? Volume.).
