Hi there! My name is Joyce Edwards and I live in a suburb of Chicago. I am an Acupuncturist and Ultrasound technologist by trade but have always wanted to make more income. When the economy went into the tank, I personally got caught up in it and started to go down the proverbial drain.
In 2009 I lost my only steady income. I was doing freelance ultrasound work for MD's and only had one account. As the economy was showing signs of a downturn everyone was looking to cut back and my position was terminated since they found techs to work by the hour instead of paying per patient. My income was close to six figures and it went down to zero figures overnight.
