Struck by the abstract nature of absence; yet it’s so painful, lacerating. Which allows me to understand abstraction somewhat better: it is absence and pain, the pain of absence—perhaps therefore love? -Barthes Love reading, watching films, lolling around and staring at the world and just letting things go by. Given to intense moments of wanting to shut the whole world out, which is easier said than done!
