As a researcher I have the last 6½ years experience and expertise in microalgae biology, culturing, molecular taxonomy, biochemical profiling etc. I have isolated more than 150 pure strains of microalgae from the Indian coast (west and east, taking support from my co-scholars) among which nearly 100 have been characterized morphologically and genetically. Nearly 30+ genera belonging to 9 different classes have been identified with maximum number of isolates from the Genus Dunaliella.
