Student of Aerospace Engineering, with a passion for orbital mechanics, control theory, mathematical physics and scientific computing. My most important personal project is poliastro, a pure Python library for preliminary orbital mechanics computations (see MSL mission plot), developed using the best of breed open source technology and quality assurance tools. It's the perfect combination of the things that I love: astrodynamics and open source coding.
Currently I am working as a programmer for the Flight Dynamics department at GMV and carrying my final degree project on Fluid–structure interaction using the FEniCS library for finite element method modelling in Python.
