I am a Doctor in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Barcelona and University Professor of Cell Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). After a long career in research and management, from September 2009, I have the honor of being the director of Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) and head of the research of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital (HUVH). I’m very proud of belonging to a leading biomedical center coordinating more than 1,300 people to do that the research of today can be the medicine of tomorrow.
