A Pune based association of parents of mentally
challenged persons and those afflicted by cerebral
palsy, Umed Pariwar was founded on a strong plinth
of hope, in 1990. Since its inception, the association
has proved to be an able support group for its
members and a platform to sensitize the society to
meet special needs of the differently abled.It also organizes programs and workshops for
teachers and social workers, medical camps to guide
parents.Over two decades of experience working in this field
has convinced us of the dire need of rehabilitation
and residential facilities if we’re to fulfill our
objectives mentioned above.
