Note to everyone with whom I interact over the next 6 weeks: If I exclaim "Happy Holidays" to you, I am doing nothing more than wishing that whatever holiday you celebrate is happy and everything you hope for. I am not attempting to make your holiday less important than anyone else's, take the Christ out of Christmas or the Men out of Menorah or Thanks out of Thanksgiving, or whatever offense you interpret by using those two little words. On the flip, if you wish me well using your particular holiday's terminology, I will appreciate the thought and not be offended (even if it's not the holiday I celebrate).
