Energy moves our society forward and Engineering uses energy to build creative solutions for today’s world problems and improve our lives. Therefore, it is vital that we keep finding ways to power our cities, industries, transportation systems, appliances, and that we are able to bring those basic systems to more people all over the world.
As a Junior Chemical Engineering student, I am passionate about creatively and sustainably exploring nature. I have already worked with research on solar energy and most currently, with the treatment of produced water from hydraulic fracking, by using algae.
