Ren-Hung Hwang received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts, USA, in 1993. He joined the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Chia-Yi, Taiwan, in 1993, where he is now the Dean of the College of Engineering and distinguished professor of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering. He is currently on the editorial boards of Journal of Information Science and Engineering and The Scientific World Journal (Computer Science area).
