Dr. Narciso Atienza finished his pre-medical degree with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology in University of Santo Tomas on 1991, and obtained his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree on 1995 from the same University. After internship, he initially trained as a ophthalmology preceptor under Dr. Antonio Say, and went on to his formal ophthalmology residency in the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, finishing in 2000. He underwent a clinical preceptorship with surgical training in the vitreo-retinal subspecialty under Drs.
