Dr Rim Turkmani is an Astrophysicists at the Imperial College in London and Research Fellow of the Royal Society, her research focus is on particle acceleration in solar flares. She also specialises in the impact of the Arabic/Islamic science on the scientific revolution, conducted original research in this area, which she converted into the ‘Arabick Roots’ exhibition at the Royal Society (http://royalsociety.org/exhibitions/arabick-roots/).
