Andrea E. Rizzoli is a senior researcher at IDSIA and professor at SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland). He holds a M.Sc. in Control Engineering (1989) and a Ph.D. in Control Engineering and Informatics (1993). His research interests are in modeling and simulation of dynamic systems, in the development of environmental decision support systems for natural resources management, and in the application of artificial intelligence and operations research techniques to environmental problems.
