Oh Jeeze. Ok. Here is a biographic summary from a recent book proposal. My father moved us to Michigan so he could pursue his doctorate in nuclear physics. I grew up in the old family farm countryside of Michigan, flying kites in the abandoned alfalfa fields and exploring the old barns. On our occasional trips back to the homestead in North Dakota, I became aware of the long family history. I wrote my grandfather letters once a month, and he never failed to write me back. I began keeping a journal and developed broad literary interests by the time I was seven years old.
