Mr. Robert Hiett serves as the Executive Director for the Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments.
Mr. Hiett works with key public and private stakeholders at the local, regional, state, and federal level to create workforce development opportunities, build sector partnerships to create a skilled talent pipeline, and work with education and training leaders to develop professional credential certifications needed by businesses within a five-county service area.
Mr. Hiett has also served in leadership positions at the state and national levels for rural transportation for the past 20 years.
