Why IT is the most hated department for the vast majority of companies?
I've been working in IT areas for more than 25 years, most of them as a consultant and, because of this question, for the last 4 years or so, I've started working in IT Transformation.
My objective as a consultant is to help clients to rethink IT as service provider and innovation enabler, focusing mainly on user experience and not applying "pre-packaged" solutions ─ discover the problem first, then find the solution. Usually, my work leads to big shifts in systems architecture, IT governance and IT infrastructure.
I use Service Design Thinking methodology and tools on most of my projects, emphasizing co-working.
