Author, Betting on China: Chinese Stocks, US Stock Markets, and a New Dynamic in Global Capitalism
Robert Koepp combines eclectic interests in finance, economics, technology, and the liberal arts to deliver unique insights on global trends impacting business and society. Educated in the US, Europe, and Asia, Rob launched his career as an itinerant researcher on a Watson Fellowship examining the traditions and evolution of Chinese-based calligraphies throughout East Asia.
Fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, Rob began regularly working in Mainland China as a World Bank-sponsored researcher advising the Chinese government on technology-driven regional economic development. He currently serves as a director at The Economist Group, heading the Corporate Network in Hong Kong.
