We do. It's called Autism. I am the very happily married mother of 2 boys on the autism spectrum. My boys were both diagnosed with PDD-NOS, SPD and multiple food allergies, and are currently age 9 and 6.5. We participate in speech and occupational therapy and we follow an allergy-free diet (no gluten/wheat, casein/dairy, soy, egg, nuts, etc.!). They are making tremendous progress and are living proof that autism IS treatable! My husband of over 13 years is a Hodgkins lymphoma cancer survivor, thanks to God's wonderful grace. He works in the commercial construction industry.
