The Wari-Maro intrusive complex is formed by meta-monzosyenites, monzogranites and diorite quartzifere setting up during the Neoproterozoic orogeny. The facies of this complex originate from the crystallization of pre-and syn-tectonic magmas relative to the deformation in the Kandi shear zone. The monzogranites are pre-tectonic. They are deformed and transformed into meta-monzosyenites under amphibolite facies metamorphic conditions during the dextral shearing. The garnet-monzogranites show a magmatic flow fabric suggesting magma emplacement and crystallization under shear strain. The diorite quartzifere is emplaced during late-tectonic phase in the Wari-Maro massif. The Wari-Maro complex offers a good opportunity to study the relationship between deformation and magmatism in the late-orogenic major shear zones of the Dahom¨¦yides fold belt.]]>
