Aaron says that though the many challenges sailors overcome is worth the risk, the most difficult one of all is dealing with the loneliness. Aaron says that even with modern technology today, often on the ship it is difficult to stay in contact with loved ones that await on the shore. Though they are often only a phone call away, it is simply a poor substitute for them being there in person.
