I believe that the work done in class should be sufficient for the students to read their notes in the afternoon and comprehend fully the content of a lesson. It also allows the learners to approach the teacher the next day to clarify some points he has not understood. Therefore, competition between students will be eliminated and nobody would be "left behind".
