Interested in the pure aesthetic of line, her drawings are created as a response to material placed within a defined space: ink on paper, tape on walls, stretched yarn. Peters engages with labour intensive and process-based practices, where repetition and/or site specificity encourages generative methods of drawing. Employing visual systems that embrace both logical and intuitive processes of production, drawn lines are repeated, interrupted or transformed through physical, mechanical or architectural interventions.
